Actually, we have an audit/ips program in our SQL Server, and it detect the APPName like ".Net SqlClient Data Provider" , there would be great if there could be an .ini file or a registry key to change that. I've look for it and couldn't find it

You have to change the app name in the .NET connection string for the application using the ";Application Name=" connection string option. This is not a factor of XEvents, but the connection being made.

This can be fixed like so:

toolWindow.IsFloating = false;
toolWindow.Linkable = false;

toolWindow.Visible = true;

Currently all refresh calls to the Server Explorer refresh all nodes in the TreeView. This should only refresh the currently editable Session Node, or the currently Selected Nodes Session or Server.

If you open the target data in the TargetDataViewer for a file target that has a path with a period in the folder path it generates an invalid path request to the database engine for the target data:

Changes made to the Library for use with Powershell were not compatible with the UI. The Library development into a full powershell provider will be done separate from the UI work for future releases, and will be reintegrated back into the UI as a true component.
