SSMS Addin 1.0.2.62

This release corrects bugs in the Beta release for TreeView Refresh and Scripting of Event Sessions from the Session Editor, and adds compatibility with SQL Server 2008 R2 and the ability to start a session immediately after it is created.

Installation Instructions

If the previous Beta release of the Addin was installed it should be uninstalled from the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel before installing this release. The Setup project was rekeyed as a part of the 2008 R2 implementation and will not remove the previous version.

Bug Fixes

Compatibility issues with SSMS 2008 R2. (Uninstall any previous version manually before installing the new release)
Correction to the Tree Refresh so that it refreshes properly after a change has been made to an Event Session, or when a new session has been created through the UI.
The scripting in the Event Session Editor has been corrected to properly generate a script to the clipboard, a file, or a new SSMS Window to match the functionality that previously existed in the external application.

New Features

The addition of a check box on the Session Editor to start the session immediately upon creation. This has been a personal pet peeve that I have intended to correct for a while now, but never got around to it.

SSMS Addin 1.0.1.58 (Beta)

This release brings all of the functionality from the Extended Events Manager UI Application into the SSMS Addin, eliminating the need to use an external application for managing Extended Events in SQL Server 2008. Future development efforts will be focused on the SSMS Addin rather than the external application.

Installation Instructions

Extended Events Manager Build 1.0.6.150

This will be the last build of the Extended Events Manager external application. All future work will be completed against the SSMS Addin for Extended Events which is currently available on the Releases Tab.
